Results: Geodashing Game 160 (GDCI)

"We were hoping to get our first Utah dashpoint, but nature wouldn't
cooperate. We diverted west at Monticello into La Sal National Forest.
Clouds obscured the peak but driving up we saw dazzling displays of
fall colors. At various pullouts we could see sun shining on
canyonlands and mesas below - beautiful. The county road was paved
until we turned off on a forest service road. Someone had tried to go
up the dirt road and almost gotten stuck, leaving deep ruts behind. So
we parked, 674m to go, can't be that hard to walk, right? Long story
short, after following multiple hunter trails, exhausting all possible
routes, we encountered impenetrable brush and woods at 186m. Tried
every possible approach, no go. The route we were using is mixed pine
and cedar but then the dashpoint is uphill through brush and small
densely packed trees."
